🥇 **BEFORE THE BELL**

I called a trade soon after the COMEX gold open. Banger. **Full TP, and my day closed green** before most traders had decided whether today was even worth showing up for.

🧠 **NEW YORK AM — WE BUILT SOMETHING INSTEAD OF WAITING**

There was nothing amazing on offer in the morning session, so we did something better with the time. Instead of avoiding FOMC like everyone else, we sat down and actually studied it — live, on stream. We back tested basically this whole year of them and built a plan on exactly what we expected price to do and exactly what we would do about it.

That plan was written in front of the room, hours before the release.

⚡ **POST-FOMC STREAM — THE PLAN GOT DEPLOYED**

Read that again, because it is the whole business in one afternoon. **One mentor executed a brand-new plan for a banger. The other skipped a winner that wasn't his to take** — and I can't complain, my day still ends green off the gold trade.

Both of those are the job. Most rooms can only ever show you the first one.

🥇 16 POINTS ON MGC — AFTER SITTING NINETY MINUTES IN THE RED

I want to close the week with this one, because the trade itself isn't the interesting part.

We took a short on MGC today. The setup was A+ — the reasons were stacked at one price and we took it. Then it went against us. For about an hour and a half it looked wrong, and anyone watching would have been forgiven for thinking it was a loser.

We didn't move the stop. We didn't cut it to make the discomfort stop. We let the model finish.

Full take profit. 16 points.

Finding the entry is the easy half. Anyone can learn to spot a setup with enough screen time. The hard half is the ninety minutes in the middle, when the trade is red and every instinct you have is telling you to do something about it.
