Startup Branding 101
Never walk into a branding meeting confused.

Truth be told, I never thought I’d be writing this book. I always thought my first business book would be in the more complex subjects of breaking through saturated markets and brand positioning without clear USPs. But in the last 10 years of my career as a marketer, I have realised how founders often get the complexities right but miss out on the fundamentals big time.
The amount of times I have been on calls with new founders and found them underestimating just how important fundamentals are for their business clearly explains why 9 out of 10 founders are known to fail the game.
This book intends to bend those odds in your favour, at least in the context of branding. Here we will talk about everything starting from finding your brand mission, to working with the brand archetype wheel.
But why should you be learning it from me? Seems like I missed introducing myself.
I am Gauri Walecha, an industrialist with a marketing firm, a jewellery brand, a newsletter, and an upcoming clothing brand under her group of companies. But before I had built any of these, I spent 10 years of my life working as a brand and marketing consultant. I worked for 350+ brands before I decided to start out on my own. This book has an extract of everything I have learnt in the many years.
