# What’s new on Whop?

Another week, another round of features you *actually* asked for.

Smoother search, smarter badges, cleaner chats, and a whole new way to earn as a Whop Partner.

Here’s the full rundown:

## Improved notification badges and accuracy

We’ve made some tweaks to notifications and message badges. 

Badge counts now accurately reflect what’s **actually** unread, so you can see how many messages you’ve missed.

We also polished the way alerts display in your **Notifications** and **Messages** tabs. Scrolling your dashboard or jumping between group chats is now smoother (and less distracting).

## iOS improvements

We’ve been working on enhancements across iOS to make Whop more intuitive when messaging, searching, or managing your dashboard.

Here's what we've been up to this week:

### Search: Smarter results, simpler experience

We’ve leveled up iOS search to help you find exactly what you want — faster and easier.

First up? Newly created whops **instantly** appear on search*, *so you’re not missing out on buyers.  

Second? Search results for both individual users and whops are sharper and more accurate. 

Third, we improved the look and accessibility of your recent searches, added a trending section to spotlight what’s catching eyes, and refreshed the overall search UI to keep things clean.

Basically, it’s easier for your stuff to get seen and sold.

### Messages: Voice, search, and cleaner requests

Before, voice notes were a web-only feature, but iOS users can now send and play voice messages straight from the app– less hassle, more hustle.

You’ll also find new ways to navigate conversations to find exactly what you’re looking for without wasting time.

Plus, we’ve added the ability to search DMs and group chat channels in the messages tab, improved the message requests interface, and added a long-press preview that gives you iMessage-style context without opening the full chat. 

## Dashboard detox: Web improvements

And if that wasn’t enough, our engineers have hustled hard this past week to declutter your web** Dashboard** experience.

We wanted to give you a cleaner, more focused space where every button, tab, and feature serves a purpose – no distractions, confusion, or guesswork. 

Now, you’ll notice easier navigation, faster access to the tools you want to use, and a cleaner overall experience.

The **Affiliates** tab (found below your **Creator Dashboard** on web) is getting a serious upgrade, making it easier to use and more rewarding.

Here’s what you need to know:

### What was the issue?

We’ll put our hands up: the old **Affiliates** tab was confusing. 

Most users didn’t even know what our affiliate program was, or how it worked, which meant you missed the chance to earn easy, recurring, passive commissions.

### What’s new?

We revamped how it works behind the scenes to make things simpler and more powerful. 

It still connects you to user and business affiliates, but now it’s smoother, more straightforward, and tweaked to help you earn more.

### How does it work?

You get a unique referral link. When someone signs up on Whop through your link, you earn a commission, but not just a one-off. 

You receive **lifetime** commissions on anything that particular user does on Whop, from creating communities to selling digital files to earning Content Rewards.

Share your link, watch your network grow, and get paid forever.
