# Tipalti Mass Payments alternatives: 10 best global payout solutions

Tipalti might be best known as an AP automation platform, but it also offers a global payouts solution, Tipalti Mass Payments. This allows platforms to send payouts to 200+ countries and territories in 120+ currencies, with 50+ payment methods available.

It can also handle important tax requirements including W-9 and W-8 forms, VAT, and DAC7.

But that’s the catch: Tipalti is built with enterprise finance teams in mind. For their mass payouts product alone, plans start at $249 per month. And that’s before transaction fees.

On top of that, payout pricing isn't publicly disclosed, and getting set up typically involves speaking to sales, negotiating transaction fees, and a lengthy implementation (rather than a self-serve signup).

For some platforms, that can be overkill.

Below, we compare 10 Tipalti alternatives across payout coverage, fees, speed, and features. Plus, we’ll explain what to consider when choosing the right payout platform.

## 10 best alternatives to Tipalti for global mass payouts

The best alternatives to Tipalti include Whop, Trolley, Payoneer, and more. Below, we break down 10 competitors and their pricing, coverage, features, and limitations.

We'll also suggest their best use cases, so you can see which alternative fits your needs.

### 1. Whop

***Best for:**** Platforms that want a full-stack API for payments, payouts, and disbursements, without monthly or SaaS fees.*

![Video thumbnail](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/media/2026/08/Whop-embedded-payouts-1_thumb.jpg)
[Watch video](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/media/2026/08/Whop-embedded-payouts-1.mp4)

Whop gives platforms and marketplaces one stack for moving money in and out. With an end-to-end [API](https://whop.com/blog/global-payouts-api/), you can [accept payments](https://whop.com/blog/accept-payments-online/) from customers, route funds between users, and send payouts globally, rather than relying on separate providers for each part of the flow.

For payouts, each recipient gets a connected account on your platform. This is a dedicated account where a seller, creator, affiliate, contractor, or business can receive funds, hold a balance, and withdraw their earnings.

[Onboard connected accounts programmatically](https://docs.whop.com/manage-your-business/manage-payouts/connected-accounts), while Whop provides the embedded flows for KYC and tax form collection.

Once they're set up, you can automatically route funds to connected accounts or transfer funds to them via the API.

See how SideShift used Whop to embed payouts natively into their platform, which works with and pays out 850k+ creators.

**[SideShift x Whop](https://whop.com/blog/sideshift/)**

Recipients choose when and how they want to withdraw, with options including bank deposits, crypto, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, wires, and other methods depending on location. Real-time payments and instant withdrawals are also available where supported.

Beyond payouts, Whop can handle checkout with 100+ local payment methods, affiliate commissions, ad disbursement, and [tax collection and remittance](https://whop.com/blog/whop-tax-service/), making it a solid option for businesses that want to consolidate their payment infrastructure, rather than just add a standalone payout provider.

- **Pricing:** No monthly or SaaS fee; you pay per transaction. Next-day US bank transfers cost $2.50 and wires $23, while instant bank deposits cost 4% + $1 and crypto and Venmo withdrawals cost 5% + $1. Payout fees are deducted from the recipient's balance by default, or your platform can choose to cover them.
- **Coverage:** Payouts across 241+ countries and territories, with methods including bank deposits, cash pickup, crypto, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, wires, and more – depending on location.

### 2. MassPay

***Best for:*** *Businesses that want a customized global payout solution and don't need transparent, self-serve pricing.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/MassPay.png)

[MassPay](https://whop.com/blog/masspay-alternatives/) is a dedicated global payouts solution. It covers payouts to 180+ countries in 80+ currencies through a single integration.

Businesses can fund in one currency and pay out in another, with local bank deposits, mobile wallets, [crypto](https://whop.com/blog/accept-crypto-payments/) and stablecoins, cash pickup, and real-time [payment methods](https://whop.com/blog/payment-methods/) available depending on location.

A big part of MassPay's offering is [smart routing](https://whop.com/blog/payment-orchestration/). That means that for each payout, the platform selects an available route based on cost, speed, reliability, and the recipient's preference. If the primary route runs into an issue, automatic failover can move the payment to another path.

Recipients manage their payouts through a fully white-labeled portal, with your branding rather than MassPay's.

Compliance is built into the payout flow too. KYC, KYB, AML monitoring, sanctions screening, and velocity checks run from onboarding through to payout, with each payment validated before it's sent.

- **Pricing:** Custom pricing only, with no public rate card. MassPay says you're only charged when a payout succeeds, with no fees on failed transactions.
- **Coverage:** 180+ countries and 80+ currencies, with bank deposits, mobile wallets, crypto and stablecoins, cash pickup, and other local and real-time payout methods.

### 3. Trolley

***Best for:**** Platforms that need deeper tax compliance across the US and multiple international jurisdictions, and are willing to pay separately for it.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Trolley--1--1.png)

Trolley is another strong payouts solution, combining global payouts with tax, identity verification, and recipient management.

The network reaches 210+ countries and territories in 135+ currencies, with payments available through local bank transfers, wires, checks, PayPal, Venmo, debit cards, and mobile wallets.

But [tax compliance](https://whop.com/blog/tax-compliance/) is where Trolley really shines. It can collect information during onboarding, handle withholding, and generate and file year-end forms.

Beyond IRS requirements, Trolley supports DAC7 and OECD digital-platform reporting across markets including the EU, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

Identity and risk tools are available too, including KYC/KYB, document collection, data validation, and facial recognition. It's worth noting that these features are modular, so while you can build out features to match the compliance requirements of your business, it comes at a cost.

Alongside traditional bank transfers, which typically take one to three business days, recipients can now receive instant payouts to eligible debit cards and local mobile wallets, with wallet support available in 25+ countries.

- **Pricing:** Payouts start at $2,399/year plus transaction fees. Tax is $2,399/year, Trust is $1,199/year, and additional integrations and data connectors are priced separately. Standard Tax also covers only one jurisdiction; businesses needing IRS compliance alongside OECD reporting need the custom-priced Trolley Plus plan.
- **Coverage:** 210+ countries and territories and 135+ currencies, with local and international bank transfers, wires, checks, PayPal, Venmo, instant debit card payouts, and mobile wallets.

### 4. Stripe Global Payouts

***Best for:*** *US and UK businesses that want straightforward global bank payouts and don't need mobile wallets or other alternative payout methods.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Stripe-Global-Payouts-2.png)

[Stripe](https://whop.com/blog/what-is-stripe/) Global Payouts is a standalone product for sending money to contractors, affiliates, creators, sellers, and other third parties. Unlike [Stripe Connect](https://whop.com/blog/stripe-connect/), you don't need to process the original customer payment through Stripe to use it.

You can send payouts to recipients in 160+ countries, using local bank transfers or wires depending on the destination. International bank payouts typically take one to seven business days, while domestic US standard payouts usually arrive within one business day.

Recipients don't need to create their own Stripe account. You create them through the Dashboard or API, with Stripe also offering hosted forms for collecting the information needed to make the payout. Once someone is set up, their details can be reused for future payments.

However, Global Payouts is currently available only to businesses based in the US and UK.

Stripe recommends Stripe Connect for payouts when you need to hold segregated funds on behalf of users or need Stripe to provide the relevant licensing. Global Payouts is designed for standalone or decoupled payout flows.

- **Pricing: **Local bank payouts start at $1.50 in the US, £0.50 in the UK, and €0.30 in the Eurozone. Cross-border payouts add a 0.25% to 1.25% fee, plus FX fees if currency conversion is needed. Instant US debit card payouts cost $1.50 + 0.75%.
- **Coverage:** 160+ recipient countries, with local bank transfers or wires depending on destination.

### 5. PayPal Enterprise Payouts (formerly Hyperwallet)

***Best for:**** Enterprise platforms paying into the PayPal/Venmo ecosystem and willing to go through a sales-led setup.*

PayPal Enterprise Payouts, formerly known as Hyperwallet, is PayPal's payouts product allowing platforms to send [cross-border payments](https://whop.com/blog/cross-border-payments/) at scale.

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/PayPal-Enterprise-Payouts.png)

Spanning 200+ markets and 50+ currencies, [PayPal](https://whop.com/blog/paypal-for-business/) Enterprise Payouts supports bank account payments, direct-to-debit cards, PayPal and [Venmo](https://whop.com/blog/venmo/), prepaid and virtual prepaid cards, checks, and PayPal's own stablecoin, PYUSD.

Platforms get access to a no-code hosted portal with drop-in components to create embedded payouts within their product. Or, if they have the dev knowledge, there's a payouts API that can programmatically pay out users.

Because it's an enterprise product, pricing is custom negotiated for each platform. Also, recipients first get access to their funds within a payout account before they can withdraw to their chosen method, adding an extra step.

- **Pricing and fees:** No published pricing, negotiated per platform program.
- **Coverage:** Supports bank transfers in 28 currencies, PayPal withdrawals across 120+ countries, and 9 payout methods.

### 6. Payoneer

***Best for:*** *Platforms whose payees already use Payoneer, or don't mind registering with the service to receive payouts.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Payoneer-1.png)

Payoneer’s mass payout solution has coverage across 190+ countries and territories and 70 currencies. Platforms can automate payouts through the API or submit them in batches, with Payoneer handling currency conversion and delivery to the recipient.

On the payee side, recipients have several ways to receive their money, including a Payoneer account, local bank account, or eWallet. Payments into Payoneer accounts typically arrive within minutes, while bank transfers can take up to three business days.

There's also a well-established network behind it. Payoneer connects with more than 2,000 marketplaces, platforms, and networks, and its marketplace customers include eBay, Airbnb, Walmart, and Fiverr.

[KYC](https://whop.com/blog/integrate-kyc-api/), AML, fraud prevention, and other compliance processes can also be handled through Payoneer's infrastructure, reducing the amount platforms need to manage themselves.

The only thing to consider is that Payoneer's payout flow is built around its own network. Payees need to register with Payoneer before they can receive funds, even when the final destination is their bank account or eWallet. This adds an extra onboarding step compared with providers that can pay recipients without requiring them to join a separate service.

- **Pricing:** Up to $4 USD/EUR/GBP per payout to same-country Payoneer accounts, or up to 1% + $4 equivalent for cross-border payouts. Bank funding costs 1%. Businesses processing over $50K/month are directed to sales for pricing. Recipients may also pay withdrawal and FX fees, plus a $29.95 annual account fee if they receive less than $6,000 over 12 consecutive months.
- **Coverage:** 190+ countries and territories and 70 currencies, with payouts to Payoneer accounts, local bank accounts, and eWallets.

### 7. Nium

***Best for:*** *Larger platforms that need enterprise-grade global payment infrastructure (and don't mind contacting sales for pricing).*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Nium--1-.png)

Nium is a global payouts provider aimed toward banks, fintechs, marketplaces, payroll providers, and other larger businesses. Its payout network reaches 190+ countries, with more than 100 real-time payout markets.

Recipients can be paid directly to bank accounts, cards, and digital wallets, with Nium connecting to local rails such as ACH, SEPA, PIX, UPI, and other real-time payment systems. According to Nium, more than 80% of its payments settle in real time.

**Its FX component is a big selling point**: platforms using Nium can access real-time exchange rates, and lock those rates for up to 24 hours.

And when it comes to marketplaces in particular, Nium can onboard sellers, split commissions and payouts, set different payout schedules and currencies, and provide white-labeled experiences through its API or the Nium Portal.

However, Nium is geared heavily towards banks, financial institutions, and larger enterprise businesses – rather than teams looking for ready to go payouts. It also doesn't publish standard payout pricing, so you'll need to contact sales to understand what your setup will cost.

- **Pricing:** Custom pricing based on your business and use case; Nium doesn't publish a standard payout rate card.
- **Coverage:** 190+ countries, with 100+ real-time payout markets and payments to bank accounts, cards, and digital wallets. FX conversion is available across 125+ currencies.

### 8. Rapyd Disburse

***Best for:*** *Marketplaces and platforms that don't mind contacting sales to configure individual transaction fees.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Rapyd.png)

Rapyd Disburse is Rapyd’s global payouts product for sending cross-border payouts to contractors, workers, suppliers, creators, and sellers. While the broader Rapyd network expands to 190+ countries and 120+ currencies for payments, its current payout network supports 100+ countries and 65+ currencies – per Rapyd’s documentation.

Local bank transfers and real-time payment networks are available, alongside instant card payouts through Visa Direct and Mastercard Send, third-party eWallets, and stablecoins.

Individual payments can be automated through the API, while mass payouts can be submitted as CSV files through the client portal. Built-in FX lets you choose the payout currency and confirm the exchange rate before sending.

Rapyd includes KYC and KYB identity verification, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring. You can also save beneficiary details, track payout status, create virtual accounts for funding, and embed the payout experience into your own infrastructure.

Payout pricing also isn't published on Rapyd's public pricing page, making it difficult to estimate costs without contacting the company.

- **Pricing:** Rapyd doesn't publish standard Disburse payout fees; you'll need to contact the company for a quote.
- **Coverage:** 100+ countries and 65+ currencies, with local bank transfers, real-time payment rails, card payouts, eWallets, and stablecoin payouts.

### 9. Airwallex

***Best for:*** *Platforms that want broad bank payout coverage and embedded payout tools, but don’t need a wide range of digital wallet options.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Airwallex--1-.png)

[Airwallex](https://whop.com/blog/airwallex-alternatives/) offers global payouts for businesses and platforms, with both API and embedded components for building payouts into your own product. You can collect beneficiary details through your own interface or use Airwallex's pre-built components to reduce the development work.

Its bank network is pretty broad, supporting local and SWIFT payouts to 200+ countries and regions in 90+ currencies, with connections to local clearing systems in more than 120 countries.

Local rails support instant bank payouts in several markets including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, the US, and much of Europe.

The trade-off is that payout-method breadth is much narrower than the bank coverage suggests. Its documented digital-wallet network currently lists only Airwallex and PayPal, rather than the broader mix of wallets, crypto, and alternative payout methods offered by some competitors.

Check out our blog's comparison of Airwallex vs. Stripe to compare each platform in detail.

**[Airwallex vs Stripe](https://whop.com/blog/stripe-vs-airwallex/)**

- **Pricing and fees:** Local transfers to 120+ countries are free on standard plans, SWIFT transfers cost $15–$25 and FX starts at 0.5% above interbank rates. Platform API and embedded finance pricing is custom.
- **Coverage:** Local and SWIFT bank payouts to 200+ countries and regions in 90+ currencies, including local clearing in 120+ markets. Digital-wallet payouts are currently limited to Airwallex and PayPal.

### 10. Dots

***Best for:*** *Platforms that want broad payout-method coverage and built-in tax compliance, and don't mind paying $999/month for API access and white-labeling.*

![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/12/7b/127b828b-bdc2-4972-9cf2-de857df9c324/content/images/2026/08/Dots-payouts-2.png)

[Dots](https://whop.com/blog/dots-review/) is a global payouts platform built for marketplaces, gig platforms, creator networks, and other businesses paying large numbers of recipients. Their own use cases suggest a particularly good fit for eSports, affiliate programs, music royalties, and influencer marketing.

Dots supports payouts to 190+ countries in 135 currencies across 300+ payout rails. Depending on the payee’s location, they can withdraw through bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, RTP, SEPA, stablecoins, and other local methods.

RTPs are available in most regions, with no additional instant payout fee on its published plans – which is definitely a great feature.

Payee onboarding and compliance are built into the platform, with Dots handling KYC/KYB and sanctions screening, collecting W-9 and W-8BEN forms, matching US taxpayer details against IRS records, and filing 1099s. Recipients also get a self-service portal where they can manage payout methods, track payments, and access tax documents.

The downside is that many of Dots' most useful platform features sit behind a significant pricing jump. The $19/month Core plan doesn't include API access, wallets, white-labeling, background checks, or 24/7 recipient support. Those require the $999/month Scale plan or custom-priced Enterprise tier.

Per-payout, ID verification, tax filing, and other usage fees are charged on top of monthly plan costs.

- **Pricing:** Core costs $19/month, with domestic payouts at $2 and international payouts at 3.9% + $2. Scale costs $999/month, reducing those fees to $1 domestically and 2.9% + $1 internationally while adding API access, wallets, and white-labeling. Other charges apply for ID verification, 1099 filing, wires, and some payout methods.
- **Coverage:** 190+ countries, 135 currencies, and 300+ payout rails, including bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, RTP, UPI, PIX, SEPA Instant, and stablecoins.

## What to look for in a Tipalti alternative

Most global payout platforms can send money internationally – that’s a given. The differences appear when you look at how they do it, what else is included, and what happens on the recipient's side.

Here’s what to weigh up when looking for your mass payouts provider.

### Payout coverage that matches your users

Don't judge coverage by country count alone. Check which payout methods are actually available in the countries where your recipients live. Bank transfers are nearly universal across this list, but support for instant payments, cards, mobile wallets, PayPal, crypto, and cash pickup varies considerably.

### A pricing model that works at your volume

Some providers charge a monthly platform fee before you send anything, while others charge primarily per transaction. Then there are FX markups, international payout fees, verification charges, tax filing costs, and sometimes fees paid by the recipient.

Run the numbers using your expected payout volume and destinations rather than comparing headline prices.

### The right level of integration

Think about how payouts need to fit into your product. A dashboard or CSV upload may be enough for occasional batches, while a marketplace paying thousands of users will probably need APIs, automated fund routing, webhooks, and embedded recipient onboarding.

There's also a difference between adding a standalone payout provider and using infrastructure that can handle payments coming in as well as money going out.

If you need both, a full-stack option can remove integrations from your payment stack.

### A good experience for recipients

Your payout provider isn't only software for your finance team. Your sellers, creators, affiliates, or contractors have to interact with it too.

Check what recipients need to do before getting paid, whether they're sent to a third-party portal, whether they need to create an account, which information they'll have to provide, and whether they can choose and manage their own withdrawal methods.

### The compliance features you actually need

KYC and sanctions screening are common, but tax support varies much more. If you need W-9/W-8 collection, 1099 filing, DAC7 reporting, or other specific functionality, check exactly what's included, and whether it's part of the base product or another paid module.

The best Tipalti alternative isn’t one universal pick. It’s the provider that keeps your recipients happy, fits naturally into your product, and gives you the functionality you need (without making you pay for what you don’t).
