The #1 Mistake Beginners Make When Building Their First WordPress Site
I've helped dozens of people build their first WordPress site, and 9 out of 10 make the exact same mistake:
They spend weeks picking themes and plugins before they've answered the one question that actually matters:
"What do I want visitors to do when they land here?"
Without that answer, you'll build a site that looks okay but converts nobody. You'll have 12 plugins installed, a homepage that says "Welcome to my website," and no clear path for visitors.
Here's the fix — answer these 3 questions BEFORE you touch WordPress:
Who is visiting my site? (Be specific. "Everyone" is not an answer.)
What's the ONE thing I want them to do? (Book a call, buy something, join a list?)
What would make them trust me enough to do that?
Once those are locked in, everything — the layout, the copy, the plugins — becomes obvious.
If you're stuck on any of this, that's exactly what I help with 1-on-1. Happy to answer questions in the comments.
