Why Mobile Shooters Are Broken (And How We're Fixing It)

Most mobile shooters feel like bad ports of console games. Tiny buttons, laggy controls, pay-to-win garbage.

We built GameCraft Shooter from scratch for mobile. Here's what makes it different:

1. Controls that actually work — designed for thumbs, not thumbsticks. Every tap and swipe is intentional.

2. No pay-to-win — the Battle Pass is cosmetic only. Skins, camos, tactical gear. No stat boosts, no unfair advantages.

3. Fast matches — 5-minute rounds. Perfect for when you have a few minutes to kill (literally).

4. Real community — we have a player lobby where you can find squads, share clips, and talk strategy.

The game is free. Download it, join the community, and tell us what you think. We're building this thing with the players, not behind closed doors.

See you on the battlefield. šŸŽÆ

Why most game customization marketplaces suck (and how we're fixing it)

Ever tried buying a weapon skin or mod pack online? Half the time you're dealing with sketchy download links, no previews, and zero community.

Here's the thing — gamers spend hundreds of hours in their favorite games. The assets you use should feel personal. But the buying experience? It's usually terrible.

That's why we built GameCraft. Every asset is:

→ Instantly delivered — no waiting, no sketchy links

→ Community-backed — chat with other players, share setups, get recommendations

→ Creator-quality — we actually play the games we make content for

Right now we've got weapon skin packs, a battle pass system, and in-game currency bundles. More drops coming weekly.

If you're the type of gamer who spends 20 minutes in the character creator before playing... you're our people. Come through.

We're building an action game as a family — here's what we've learned so far

Most people think you need a huge studio to make a real game. You don't.

We're a family building an action shooter from scratch. No investors, no AAA budget — just us, our ideas, and a lot of late nights.

Here's 3 things we've figured out early:

1. Start with the feel, not the features. If the movement and shooting don't feel right in the first 10 seconds, nobody cares about your 50-hour campaign. We spent the first 2 weeks just on how the character moves.

2. Playtest with people who don't care about your feelings. Your mom will say it's great. Your friend who actually games will tell you the truth. Find those people early.

3. Build in public. Sharing progress keeps you accountable and builds a community before you even launch. That's exactly what we're doing here on GameCraft.

If you're into indie games or want to follow the journey, join our free community. We post updates, share builds, and actually listen to feedback.

Let's go. šŸŽ®
