No contact is not a personality. It is a protocol.
Most people fail no contact because they treat it like a mood.
They mute instead of block. They keep the playlist "for the memories." They check the story on a dummy account and call it closure. Then they are shocked when the attachment is still running the house.
Unloving is logistics.
Remove the inputs. Phone, photos, maps, mutual friends' updates, the old neighborhood in your commute.
Put the body on a schedule before the mind agrees. Sleep. Food. Walk. Repeat.
When the fantasy starts writing a sequel, interrupt it with a task that has a finish line. Not a journal entry. A finished thing.
If they reach out, you do not owe a novel. You owe yourself a closed door.
