The Lie About 'Not Having Time' to Work Out
Let me do some quick math.
There are 1,440 minutes in a day. A 30-minute workout is 2% of your day. Two percent.
You spend more time than that:
Scrolling your phone on the toilet
Watching "just one more episode"
Sitting in traffic doing nothing
The issue was never time. It's priority.
Here's what changed everything for me: I stopped trying to find time and started blocking it.
My rule: the workout happens in the first 30 minutes after I wake up. Before emails, before coffee (okay, sometimes with coffee), before the day takes over.
Why morning? Because by 6pm your willpower is gone. Your boss asked for one more thing. The kids need dinner. Your couch is calling.
But at 6am? Nobody needs you yet. The world is quiet. And 30 minutes later, you've already won the day.
If you're reading this and thinking "I should start working out" — stop thinking. Set an alarm 35 minutes earlier than usual tomorrow. Do 3 sets of push-ups, 3 sets of squats, 3 sets of rows. Done. That's your first workout.
No gym required. No perfect plan needed. Just start.
