*[Scene 1: Earth gets a call from Black Hole]*
*Earth:* Hey bro, how are you? Good?
*Black Hole:* Hey come meet me!
*Earth:* Okay guys, Black Hole bro just called. I’ll go meet him and be back in 24 hours.
*Black Hole:* Oh, you’re here already? Come inside. I’ll just spit you back out in a bit. It’ll be fun.
*[Scene 2: Earth comes out]*
*Earth:* What a chill break that was. Alright, let’s head back to the solar system. Bye bro.
*Earth:* Wait… why does everything feel so weird? What happened in 24 hours?
*[Scene 3: Black Hole explains]*
*Black Hole:* 24 hours? No no. 5 billion years have passed now.
*Earth:* What?!
*Black Hole:* You went near me, right? Near a black hole, time moves super slow.
That’s what Einstein’s time dilation means.
The stronger the gravity, the slower time goes.
Near the event horizon of a black hole, time almost stops.
So while only 24 hours passed for you… 5 billion years passed out here.
