Why most habit trackers fail (and the one thing that actually keeps people consistent)

I've tried basically every habit/todo app out there before building my own. They all have the same flaw: they track behavior but give you nothing back for it.

You log a gym session. Cool, here's a checkmark. You study for 2 hours. Great, here's a streak number. None of it feels like anything.

The apps that actually work in other areas of life (video games, loyalty programs, even school) all share one mechanic: variable, chosen rewards. You don't just get credit — you get to pick what you're working toward and then earn it.

That's the whole premise behind what I'm building: a gym/study/daily-task accountability tool where hitting your streaks unlocks a reward you chose ahead of time — not a badge, not points, an actual reward system you design for yourself.

If you're a busy 20-something trying to juggle work, the gym, and your own goals and keep flaking on all three — this was built for you. Three tiers starting at $5/mo if you want to check it out, but even if you don't, the takeaway stands: if your habit system doesn't reward you like a game, you'll quit it like a chore.
