3 mistakes killing your gym progress (and what to do instead)
Most people train for months and barely see results. It's not because they're lazy — it's because they're making these 3 mistakes:
1. No progressive overload
If you're lifting the same weight every week, your body has zero reason to grow. Track your lifts. Add 2.5kg every week. Small jumps compound into massive gains over 6 months.
2. Ignoring nutrition
You can't out-train a bad diet. If you're not eating enough protein (1.6-2.2g per kg bodyweight), you're leaving gains on the table. It doesn't matter how hard you train.
3. Program hopping
Switching programs every 2 weeks means you never adapt to anything. Pick ONE program and run it for 8-12 weeks minimum. That's where the real progress happens.
I built the Complete Fitness Program to fix all three of these — step-by-step workouts, nutrition plans, and a community to keep you accountable. Check it out if you're serious about results.
