The 3 things I wish I knew before I started day trading

Most people blow their first account. I almost did too.

After years of trading, here are the 3 lessons that would've saved me thousands:

1. You don't need to trade every day.

Beginners think more trades = more money. Wrong. The best traders wait for high-probability setups and skip the noise. Some of my best weeks had 2-3 trades total.

2. Risk management isn't optional — it IS the strategy.

I don't care how good your entry is. If you're risking 10% of your account on a single trade, you're gambling. Start with 1-2% max risk per trade. Boring? Yes. Profitable? Also yes.

3. Paper trading is underrated.

Everyone wants to jump straight to real money. But if you can't be profitable on a demo account, real money won't change that — it'll just make the losses hurt more. Spend 2-4 weeks paper trading before risking a cent.

I built Market Mastery Pro specifically for people who are starting from zero. No jargon, no hype — just a clear path from "I don't know what a candlestick is" to placing your first confident trade.

If that's you, come join us.
