5 AI workflows that save me 10+ hours a week
Most people use ChatGPT like a search engine. They type a question, get an answer, and move on. That's maybe 5% of what it can do.
Here are 5 workflows I run every single week that have completely changed how I work:
1. Client email drafting
I feed it the context of the project + the client's communication style from past emails. It writes drafts that sound like me, not a robot. I edit for 2 minutes instead of writing for 20.
2. Research summaries
Instead of reading 15 articles, I paste key sources and ask for a structured summary with key takeaways, contradictions, and gaps. Saves hours of reading and I actually retain more.
3. Content repurposing
One long-form piece → Twitter thread, LinkedIn post, newsletter intro, and video script outline. All in one prompt chain. What used to take a full afternoon now takes 15 minutes.
4. SOPs and documentation
I describe a process once conversationally, and it turns it into a clean, step-by-step SOP I can hand to a VA or teammate. No more "let me write that up later" and then never doing it.
5. Weekly planning
Every Sunday I dump my goals, deadlines, and priorities into a prompt. It spits back a time-blocked schedule with buffer time built in. I've been more consistent in the last 3 months than the last 3 years.
The difference between "using AI" and actually leveraging it is having systems, not just one-off queries.
I built AI Unlocked to teach exactly these kinds of workflows — not hype, just practical systems that free up your time.
