Our Ceremonial Cacao is made from 100% whole Theobroma cacao beans from Peru, carefully processed to preserve the natural cacao butter and richness of the whole bean. Theobroma translates as “food of the gods”, reflecting cacao’s long ceremonial history.

Unlike conventional cocoa powder, where much of the cacao butter is removed, ceremonial cacao remains whole and un-defatted, preserving approximately 57% natural cacao butter.
