School teaches you calculus. It doesn't teach you how to actually get things done.

After spending years optimizing my own productivity, here are the 3 systems that changed everything:

1. The 2-Minute Capture System

Every time a task, idea, or deadline hits you, write it down within 2 minutes. Your brain is for processing, not storage. I use a simple notes app. No fancy tools needed.

2. The Energy Map

Stop scheduling by time. Schedule by energy. Track when you feel sharpest for 1 week, then stack your hardest work there. Most students peak at 10am-12pm and 8pm-10pm. Find YOUR windows.

3. The Sunday Reset

Every Sunday, spend 20 minutes doing 3 things:

  • Review what you accomplished last week

  • Set 3 priorities for the new week (not 10, not 5, three)

  • Pre-decide your "non-negotiable" daily habits

These aren't theories, they're systems I use daily and write about in depth at Digital Shelf.

I publish ebooks every week breaking down productivity frameworks, discipline strategies, and focus techniques for students who want to actually level up.
