Most beginner traders lose money for one simple reason: they trade without a plan.

They see a stock moving, feel the FOMO, enter late, and panic sell at the worst time. Sound familiar?

Here's the fix — a 3-step framework I use before every single trade:

  1. Define your edge before you enter.

What's the setup? Is this a breakout, a pullback, a reversal? If you can't name it, don't trade it. Random entries = random results.

  1. Know your risk before you click buy.

Set your stop loss BEFORE you enter. I never risk more than 1-2% of my account on a single trade. This isn't conservative — it's how you survive long enough to get good.

  1. Have a profit target.

"I'll sell when it feels right" is not a strategy. Use key levels, moving averages, or a risk:reward ratio (I aim for at least 2:1). Know your exit before you're in the trade.

That's it. No fancy indicators. No secret algorithm. Just discipline and a plan.

If you're a beginner looking to build real consistency in stocks and options, this is exactly what we teach inside Alpha Edge Academy. DM me if you have questions.
