3 mistakes every beginner trader makes (and how to avoid them)
I've been trading crypto and forex for years. Here are the 3 things that cost beginners the most money:
1. Trading without a stop loss
"I'll just hold, it'll come back." No. Set your stop loss before you enter. If you can't define your risk, you shouldn't be in the trade.
2. Overleveraging
10x leverage sounds exciting until you get liquidated on a 5% move. Start with 2-3x max. Boring? Maybe. But you'll still have money next month.
3. Chasing green candles
If a coin already pumped 40% and you're thinking "I need to get in" ā you're the exit liquidity. Wait for the pullback. The market isn't going anywhere.
Master these three things and you're already ahead of 90% of retail traders.
I break down setups like this daily inside Alpha Edge ā signals, courses, and a community of traders all learning together.
