Why I stopped manually reading whitepapers (and built a prompt stack instead)
A year ago I was spending 3-4 hours per new token just reading whitepapers, docs, and trying to piece together on-chain activity manually. It didn't scale, and honestly most of that time was low-value — restating what the docs already said instead of finding the actual signal.
What changed things for me was building a structured set of prompts that force the same rigorous checklist every single time:
Tokenomics + unlock schedule extraction (so you're not surprised by a cliff unlock)
Contract/holder concentration risk scoring
Narrative + comp analysis vs similar protocols
A repeatable format for turning research into a thread or journal entry
The unlock wasn't "AI does research for me" — it was removing the inconsistency in my own process. Same checklist every time means I stopped missing obvious red flags.
Curious how other researchers here structure their repeatable process — do you have a personal checklist, or is it more vibes-based per token?
