Founders used to need months to build the wrong thing.

I was talking recently with someone working on a new community-led product.

The concept made sense.

A place where people can ask questions, share advice, and find the right kind of help.

Could be local recommendations.

Could be specialist support.

Could be practical advice on everyday problems.

And if there’s a fit, a provider pays a small fee to connect.

Nothing unusual there.

The build is not the scary part anymore.

The scary part is whether anyone comes back on Tuesday.

That’s where founders get stuck.

They spend weeks vibe coding something polished.

Nice flows.

Clean UI.

Smart features.

Then launch day comes and it’s like opening a nightclub in the desert.

Because if your whole idea depends on people showing up, talking, replying, and returning...

the real job is not shipping software.

It’s giving people a reason to care.

Again and again.

I’ve seen this mistake a lot.

People think the hard bit is building the product.

Honestly, the tech is often the easier part.

The hard bit is demand, distribution, and engagement.

In plain English...

getting attention, getting people in, and giving them a reason to stay active.

If you’re building a community product, ask yourself one ugly question:

If this went live tomorrow, why would anyone come back next week?

That answer matters more than your stack.
