Your watch is lying to you on bench day

A 45mm watch on your wrist during a heavy press does two things: it throws your bar path, and it records garbage heart-rate data because the sensor is bouncing off bone.

Gym lifters don't need another screen. You need overnight HRV, sleep, and a recovery score that actually moves with volume.

Wear the tracker to bed. Take it off (or slide it up the forearm) when you unrack. Read the number in the morning, then decide if today is a top set or a back-off.

Three mornings of data beats one "optimized" workout. That's the whole system.
