3 Chart Patterns That Actually Work for Crypto (Beginner Breakdown)
Most "chart patterns" content is recycled garbage. Here are 3 that I actually use daily to find entries.
1. Bull Flag
After a strong move up, price consolidates in a tight downward channel. The breakout above the flag = your entry. Works especially well on 4H and daily timeframes for BTC and ETH.
Key: Volume should drop during the flag and spike on breakout.
2. Double Bottom
Price hits a support level twice and bounces. The neckline break is your entry. I use this constantly on altcoins when they're finding a floor after a selloff.
Key: Second bottom should hold slightly above or at the first. If it breaks below, the pattern is invalid.
3. Ascending Triangle
Flat resistance with higher lows pushing up into it. This one screams accumulation. When resistance finally breaks, it usually moves fast.
Key: Look for this on coins that have been ranging for weeks — the longer the range, the bigger the breakout.

These aren't magic. They fail sometimes. The edge comes from combining them with proper risk management and not overleveraging.
I break down setups like these daily inside Apex Crypto. Real calls, real analysis, no hype.
