πΊοΈ Blueprint #1: How to Go From 'I Have an Idea' to a Working Prototype in 7 Days
Most app ideas die in the "thinking about it" phase. This blueprint gives you a step-by-step process to go from idea β prototype in one week. No coding experience required to start.
---
Day 1-2: Problem Discovery
Pick ONE problem you've personally experienced this week
Write it down in one sentence: "It's frustrating when ___"
Ask 5 people if they experience the same thing
If 3+ say yes, you've got a real problem worth solving
Day 3: Solution Sketch
Don't open a code editor yet
Grab paper or use Figma and sketch 3-5 screens
Focus on the core action β what's the ONE thing your app does?
Remove everything that isn't essential to that one action
Day 4: User Flow Map
Map out the journey: Open app β [Step 1] β [Step 2] β Done
Keep it under 4 steps max
Ask yourself: "Would my grandma understand this flow?"
If no, simplify
Day 5-6: Build the Prototype
Use no-code tools (Figma prototypes, FlutterFlow, Adalo) or code if you're ready
Build ONLY the core feature β nothing else
It should look rough. That's fine. Functionality > polish
Day 7: Test & Get Feedback
Show it to 3-5 people (not your friends who'll just say "looks cool")
Ask: "What's confusing?" and "Would you use this?"
Write down every piece of feedback
Prioritize the top 3 issues for your next sprint

Key Principle
Speed beats perfection. The goal isn't to build a perfect app in 7 days β it's to build the habit of shipping. Every prototype you complete makes the next one faster and better.
