Why I Wrote This Book

In October 2022, I took on my first leadership position. Professionally, I was ready. Spiritually, I was not. I assumed the faith practices that had gotten me there would be sufficient for the battles ahead. I was deadly wrong.

As Kingdom Christians advance professionally, we become targets. Wherever we go, the Kingdom goes and is expected to advance. I hadn't acknowledged this reality and was completely unprepared. I was a well-intentioned 'nice' Christian decreeing "all will be well" yet totally ill-equipped to create an environment where "it would be well."

I expected professional challenges—that's leadership. What I didn't expect was the devastating impact of unseen spiritual attacks. The challenges affected my mental, emotional, and physical health so severely that only my Spirit remained standing.

After much soul-searching, I left that role to heal. During this period, this book and the next five were birthed. God wastes nothing. This brutal experience ignited an unquenchable fire in me to equip Marketplace Apostles—Christian Professionals—to not run from leadership but to get spiritually ArmoredUp and confidently take positions in EVERY field, redeeming the Marketplace for the Kingdom.

I see this book as TESTIMONY that every weapon formed against us will never prosper and ALL THINGS work for our good!
