Aslan Jewelry Atelier

This grouping consists of a pair of asymmetrical linear earrings. They are not identical, and they are not intended to be. Each piece was constructed by hand, suspending a combination of sharp geometric forms and soft botanical charms along a length of white cord. The works are related by their shared palette of deep amethyst and pale lavender, and their common use of structural knotting rather than by mirrored repetition.

Process & intent
These pieces were made slowly, one at a time, exploring the balance between hard and soft silhouettes as part of a personal making practice. The process is intentionally non-industrial, allowing the height and spacing of the floral “clusters” to vary against the anchor of the terminal violet cube. While similar components may be used in other works, the specific vertical rhythm of this pair cannot be perfectly duplicated. This duo reflects a study in contrast — a series of decisions made in the same moment, using the same materials, but resulting in two distinct compositions.
