Most creators spend hours on visuals and 5 minutes on audio. Here's what's killing your sound:

1. Not using a noise gate. Background hum makes you sound like you're recording in a bathroom. A simple gate removes it instantly.

2. Over-compressing vocals. Your voice sounds flat and lifeless. Use a 3:1 ratio max and keep the attack slow.

3. Ignoring EQ on voiceovers. Cut below 80Hz (rumble), boost slightly at 3-5kHz (clarity). Night and day difference.

4. Using stock transitions. That generic whoosh sound? Everyone recognizes it. Custom transitions make your content feel premium.

5. Skipping the limiter on master. Your audio clips and distorts on different speakers. A limiter at -1dB saves you.
