Why I stopped guessing and started dropshipping only 'proven viral' gadgets
Started VoltEdge this week. Quick take for anyone building a dropship store from scratch:
Most people pick products because THEY think they're cool. Wrong move. The winning filter is: has this already gone viral on TikTok/Reels with real UGC and comments asking 'where do I buy this'? If yes, the demand already exists — you're just capturing it faster and cheaper than the next guy.
First product up: the LED galaxy projector trend that's been all over bedroom-setup content for months. Low unit cost, high perceived value, impulse price point under $40 — exactly the math that works for a first SKU.
If you're starting your own dropship store on Whop: nail ONE product first, get the offer and price right, THEN scale traffic. Don't split focus across 10 SKUs before you've proven one converts.
