1. แซ่บ (sâep) — "Delicious" but with attitude. Use it when eating street food and watch the vendor's face.

2. สบาย (sabai) — Means relaxed/comfortable. When someone asks how you are, just say "sabai sabai" and you'll sound like you've been in Thailand for years.

3. อร่อย (aroi) — The standard word for delicious. Point at your food, say "aroi mak" (very delicious), instant connection.

4. เก่ง (gèng) — Means skilled/talented. Thai people use this as a compliment constantly. Use it back.

5. ไม่เป็นไร (mai bpen rai) — "No worries." This is basically the Thai philosophy of life in one phrase.
