3. Over-lining lips without blending. A visible lip line is a dead giveaway. Use a lip brush to blend the liner into your lipstick so it looks natural.

4. Wrong shade of contour. If your contour looks muddy or orange, the shade is too warm. Cool-toned contour creates a natural shadow effect.

5. Ignoring your brows. Brows frame your entire face. Even just brushing them up with a clear gel makes a huge difference.
