The 3 businesses I'd start with $0 in 2026
Everyone overcomplicates starting a business. You don't need money. You need a skill, a laptop, and the discipline to show up every day.
Here are 3 businesses I'd start today with literally nothing:
1. Freelance service (Week 1 revenue)
Pick one skill: copywriting, video editing, social media management. Go to Twitter/LinkedIn, find 10 people who need it, and offer to do it for free for the first client. Get a testimonial. Charge the next one $500.
2. Digital product (passive income in 30 days)
Take something you know well — could be Excel, could be meal prepping, could be job interview prep. Turn it into a simple PDF guide or Notion template. Price it at $19. Sell it through your socials.
3. Coaching/consulting (highest margins)
If you've done something successfully — lost 50 lbs, landed a tech job, grown an Instagram — other people will pay you to show them how. Start with 1-on-1 calls at $50/hr. Scale from there.
The pattern: all three start with what you already know. No inventory, no funding, no fancy website. Just execution.
I teach people how to go from zero to their first $5K/month inside Benjequity Business Builders. But honestly? This post alone is enough to get started. The hard part isn't knowing what to do — it's actually doing it.
