Castport — Self-Hosted Podcast Hosting + Valid RSS
Own your podcast feed — hosting you pay for once
Castport is a self-hosted podcast host: upload episodes, get an Apple/Spotify-valid RSS feed, clean public show pages, an embeddable player, and download stats — with your audio files never held hostage on someone else's infrastructure. Transistor charges $19/mo ($228/yr, up to $684–$3,564 over three years) for what is, under the hood, an RSS feed and a folder of MP3s. Castport is $39 once. Built for the 99% of podcasters who don't need network-scale dynamic ad insertion — just a bulletproof feed on their own domain.
