Inkseal — Self-Hosted E-Signature Platform
Self-hosted e-signatures. Pay once, sign forever.
Inkseal is a self-hosted e-signature platform for small teams and side businesses sending leases, NDAs, and contracts. DocuSign Personal is $10/mo and caps you at 5 envelopes a month; Standard is $25/mo ($300/yr). Inkseal is $49 once with unlimited envelopes — five months of DocuSign Personal pays for it outright.
Upload a PDF, drag signature/initials/date/text fields onto it, assign them to color-coded signers, and route sequentially or in parallel. Signers open a unique link, draw or type their signature, and consent explicitly. You get back a genuinely flattened PDF with an appended audit certificate page.
Drag-and-drop field placement on any PDF (pdf.js rendering)
Sequential or parallel signer routing
Flattened final PDFs — signatures embedded via pdf-lib, not overlays
Hash-chained audit trail with one-click Verify that pinpoints any tampering
Templates: save a field layout, reuse with fresh signers by role
Decline, void, and remind flows
Email invitations via your own SMTP — or just copy the signing link
Covers ESIGN/UETA-style simple-electronic-signature requirements (not eIDAS QES)
Runs as a Windows desktop app or on a $5 VPS (Docker included).
