Imgflip’s free tier slaps a watermark on every export and gates batch tools behind a $6.99/month Pro plan. Memeforge does the same captioning job — template library, drag-to-position text, stroke and shadow controls, instant export — locally, with no watermark and no account, for $15 once.

• Built-in template library — Dozens of classic formats ready to caption, plus upload your own base image.
• Drag & resize text boxes — Position, scale and rotate top/bottom or freeform text with live preview.
• Custom fonts & stroke — Impact-style outline by default, swap fonts, adjust stroke width, color and shadow.
• Upload your own image — Any JPG/PNG becomes a base template — not limited to the built-in set.
• Batch export queue — Caption a whole folder of images with the same text layout in one pass.
• Zero watermark — Every export is a clean PNG — nothing added, ever, on any plan.
• Keyboard shortcuts — Nudge, duplicate and cycle text layers without touching the mouse.
• Fully offline — No image is ever uploaded anywhere — captioning happens entirely on your machine.

Runs as a Windows desktop app.
