Why most 'news breakdown' content fails (and what I'm doing differently)

Spent a lot of time thinking about why people bounce off news analysis content. Two reasons, mostly:

  1. It's either too dry (just facts restated) or too partisan (facts filtered through an agenda before you get them).

  2. It assumes you already know the backstory — who the players are, why this fight has been going on for years, what actually changed this week.

So I started writing weekly ebook breakdowns of the week's biggest story, written the way a good explainer-in-chief would actually talk to a room: plain language, real context, straight to "why this matters to you." No headline-chasing, no political team jersey.

First one just dropped — breaking down this week's biggest story start to finish. If you've ever finished reading a news article and still felt confused about how we got here, this is built for you.
