Why I'm merging YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Maps into one app
Every time I want to find something worth doing nearby, I bounce between 4 apps: TikTok for what's trending, Instagram for what my friends are into, YouTube for a deep dive, and Maps to actually get there. None of them talk to each other.
So I'm building Blend — a feed where video, photos, and location are the same object, not three separate apps stitched together with screenshots and copy-pasted addresses. See a spot in a video, tap it, get directions. See a place on the map, pull up everything posted about it.
I'm building it in public — sharing every build update, every decision, every mess-up — with a small group of founding members who get direct input on what ships. If you've ever been frustrated switching between apps just to figure out where to go and what to do there, this is for you.
Following along is $9/mo, locked in for life as a founding member.
