Why we built BlueClip: Bangladesh's clipping economy is underpriced

Every week we see Bangladeshi brands spend their entire marketing budget on a single boosted Facebook post, while creators here sit on hours of podcast and livestream footage nobody ever clips.

Meanwhile in the US, clipping has become its own economy — agencies pay clippers $2-6 per 1,000 views to turn long-form content into TikToks and Reels, and brands treat it as cheaper, more authentic distribution than paid ads.

That gap is why we built BlueClip.

How it actually works:

  1. A brand, creator, or clipping agency funds a campaign with a real budget (held before the campaign goes live — no one works on a promise).

  2. Clippers browse live campaigns, post clips to their own TikTok/Reels/Shorts/X accounts, and submit the link.

  3. The campaign owner approves clips against clear requirements — only approved clips earn.

  4. Views convert into earnings automatically at the campaign's reward rate, and payouts run through Whop — no invoicing, no chasing anyone for money.

Who this is for:

  • Brands & creators who have content or budget but no distribution engine

  • Clipping agencies who want campaign infrastructure without building it themselves

  • Clippers who want to get paid for views instead of vague promises

We're starting with the Bangladeshi market first, but the network works with anyone. If you've got footage sitting unused, or you're already editing clips for fun, this is the difference between doing it for free and getting paid per view.
