5 things killing your e-commerce conversion rate (and how to fix them)
Most small businesses lose 70%+ of potential customers before they ever hit "Buy Now." Here's what I see wrong on almost every store I audit:
1. Slow load times
If your site takes more than 3 seconds to load, half your visitors are already gone. Compress images, ditch heavy themes, and use a proper CDN.
2. No clear value proposition above the fold
Visitors should know exactly what you sell and why they should care within 2 seconds of landing. If they have to scroll to figure it out, you've lost them.
3. Cluttered product pages
Too many options = decision paralysis. Lead with your best seller. One clear CTA per page.
4. No trust signals
Reviews, secure payment badges, return policies — if customers can't trust you, they won't buy from you. Period.
5. Ignoring mobile
60%+ of traffic is mobile. If your store isn't optimized for thumb-scrolling, you're leaving money on the table.
I build stores that fix all of this from day one. If you're launching an online business or your current store isn't converting, check out my packages above.
