Went super light size the day after FOMC. Wednesday we had a huge range of 500+ points so I expected yesterday to be a consolidation day. Members still banked though, screenshots posted below!

HUGE FOMC DAY. Best FOMC weโve had so far. 500 point drop in the market after 25 bps rate hike, first rate hike since July 2023. Glad we could capitalize on it.

Clean moves down and we were able to capitalize twice during the sell off. LOD break gave us confidence to short with entries on the EMA taps.

Initial move to the upside on Nasdaq in the first 40 minutes then we proceeded to pullback and consolidate for an hour before getting a news driven high of day break. Still sizing down and taking base hits until the end of summer. Volatility should pick up this week on Wednesday during FOMC.

Context:
In premarket, there was an initial sell off until about 8:30am EST leading into a curl up into open. Had a long bias to start the day because of that. Noticed structure holding in the first 10 minutes of price action with longer wicks forming.
Trade #1 and #2 - LONG MNQ scalp and LONG MNQ reload (win)
Took a quick scalp for +30 pts, then re-entered for a long reload at 9:44am
Held that trade for about 10 minutes giving us +45 pts.
Trade ended up running 100 pts total
Trade #3 - LONG MNQ (loss)
Felt like a good trend day so decided to enter in on another 9 EMA tap
Entered at 10:10am, scaled into the position with 3 different entries and a SL set at -35 pts
Stopped out of the long and price ended up dropping an extra 50 pts so even though it hurt in the moment, was happy I got stopped out
Trade #4 - MNQ scalps (personal trade)
Scalped another LONG MNQ for a rebound of about 15 points
Trade #5 - MNQ LONG (win)
Entered in long at 10:32am, was red for about 10pts until we got a pop to +30pts.
Scaled out some of my position and was tempted to re-enter on another tap to my breakeven
Ended up not re-entering that contract I sold out of and holding the 1 contract
Eventually got another pop to +40pts and took profits on that
Huge volatility came afterwards with the "US Treasury to buy back up to $6 billion in longer-dated debt Thursday." Some members scalped some more shorts but I was more than happy with my profits for the day and did not want to give anything back. 200 pt drop in the markets after that news.

Peep the screenshots whole team killed it yesterday! Went 3/3 on the trade alerts, small size on the contracts for me, copy trading on 2 accounts.
Still battling this summer price action and trading conservatively. Taking base hits where we can get them and not being greedy.

Last day of shitty August price action this week. Praying that September will be easier to trade. Either way, we stay consistent and stack the base hits. Donโt get too high or too low and we extract what we can from the markets like always

Messed with gold a bit today. Alerted $250 across 2 express accounts on stream and then made a bit more on 2 more accounts off stream. MNQ continues to be slow this summer. Need a good day tomorrow to close out the week strong.
