How to Choose the Perfect Bridal Chura — A Quick Guide
Every bride deserves a chura that feels right. Here's what most people get wrong and how to get it right:
Size matters more than you think. Your bangles should be snug but comfortable — you'll be wearing them for weeks. Measure your wrist at the widest point, not the thinnest. If you're between sizes, go slightly larger.
Red isn't your only option. Traditional red and white is classic, but today brides are choosing maroon, pink, ivory, and even custom colors to match their lehenga. Don't be afraid to break the rules.
Check the material. Plastic chura looks the same for the first week. After that, there's no comparison to real lac or acrylic with proper stone work. The weight and shine tell the whole story.
Pair it right. Your chura should complement your kaleere and other bangles, not compete with them. If your kaleere is heavy and ornate, go simpler on the chura design — and vice versa.
Order early. At least 3-4 weeks before the wedding. Custom work takes time, and you don't want to be stressed about this.
