The 0→1 trap that kills most first-time founders
Most first-time founders don't fail because their idea is bad.
They fail because they spend 6 months perfecting something before showing it to anyone.
Here's what I've seen work instead:
Week 1: Write down exactly who your customer is — one specific person, not "everyone"
Week 2: Talk to 10 of them. Not a survey — actually talk. Ask what they're struggling with.
Week 3: Build the smallest thing that solves that specific problem
Week 4: Charge someone for it. Even $5. The first dollar is the hardest one.
The feedback loop is the business. The faster you cycle through it, the faster you figure out what actually works.
Build Lab exists for founders in this exact stage — the messy 0→1 grind before anything looks impressive.
If that's you, come build with us.
