The 3 reasons you're not losing fat (even though you're training hard)
Most guys in the gym are grinding 5-6 days a week and still look the same as they did 6 months ago.
Here's why:
1. You're eating at maintenance without realizing it.
You think you're in a deficit but you're eyeballing portions, not tracking snacks, and drinking calories. A "clean" diet doesn't automatically mean a calorie deficit. Track for 2 weeks. The numbers don't lie.
2. You're doing too much cardio and not enough resistance training.
Cardio burns calories in the moment. Muscle burns calories 24/7. If you're spending 45 min on the treadmill and 20 min lifting, flip that ratio. Build the engine first.
3. You're not sleeping enough.
Sleep is when your body actually repairs and grows. Under 7 hours? Your cortisol is elevated, your testosterone is suppressed, and your hunger hormones are working against you. Fix your sleep before you add another training day.
These aren't secrets. They're fundamentals that most people ignore because they're not flashy.
I wrote an entire ebook breaking down the exact blueprint for building muscle while losing fat — training, nutrition, recovery, all of it. No fluff, just what works.
