MARKET UPDATE
The market is starting the final trading day of August with a cautious, risk-off tone.
U.S. stock futures were lower early Monday as renewed tensions between the U.S. and Iran pushed oil prices sharply higher, creating fresh concerns about inflation and interest rates.
WHAT'S MOVING THE MARKET
🛢️ Oil Is the Big Story
Brent crude moved above $90 as geopolitical tensions escalated. Higher energy prices could add to inflation pressures and keep the Fed hawkish.
