We've been running Cafe Tesu near IIT Flyover for a few years now, and the one thing that shows up in almost every review — good or bad — is portion size and pacing. People don't just want food that tastes good, they want to feel like they got their money's worth and weren't rushed out the door.

A few things we've learned that any food business owner here might find useful:

1. Ambiance closes more repeat visits than the menu does. Lighting, music, and seating comfort get mentioned more than any single dish in our reviews.

2. Breakfast and brunch are where loyalty gets built — people come back for the same platter, not to "try something new."

3. Consistency beats novelty. Our Chef's Breakfast Platter and Cappuccino are still the two most talked-about items years later.

We just opened up a membership for regulars (discounts, priority seating, early menu access) because so many people were asking "how do I get the regular treatment" — turns out building a system for your best customers matters as much as the food itself.
