The real cost of carrying too much
Most guys don't realize how much dead weight is in their pockets until they dump everything out on a table.
I did this a few months back — full wallet, keys with 6 things I never use, a bulky multi-tool I've touched twice. Total: over half a pound of stuff I was hauling around every day for no reason.
The fix isn't "buy more organizers." It's cutting down to fewer, better-made things that each do one job well.
A few rules I've landed on building Minimal Carry:
If it doesn't fit in a closed fist, it's too big. Wallets, cardholders, keychains — anything you touch 10x a day should disappear in your hand.
Titanium and carbon fiber aren't flexes, they're math. Same durability as steel or leather at a third of the weight. That's the whole appeal.
RFID-blocking is no longer optional. Card skimming is common enough now that any wallet without it is behind.
Bundle your essentials instead of buying piecemeal. A wallet and keychain bought together almost always beats the same two items bought separately — less packaging, less shipping, and usually a better price per item.
That last point is why we built the Slim Wallet + Keychain Bundle — titanium slim wallet (holds 8 cards + cash, under 6mm) paired with the Stealth Keychain multi-tool. Two things you actually use daily, priced as one.
If you're rebuilding your carry from scratch, start with what's in your pocket right now and ask which pieces you'd actually miss. That's your real EDC list — everything else is dead weight.
