The Escalation Pack

$67

What to actually send, to whom, in what words

Chapter 7 names three doors: the bank, protective services, and the law. This is the written half — the letters, the exact wording, and the order.

Six letter templates, split US and UK, because they are not the same document:

  • Bank complaint (US) — written as a record and a request for protections, not a refund demand. Reg E covers unauthorised transfers; these scams involve money the victim was persuaded to send. A letter demanding a refund gets refused on line one.
  • CFPB escalation, and Financial Ombudsman escalation
  • UK reimbursement claim — the one letter that may actually get money back, with the vulnerable-consumer paragraph that disapplies the excess
  • US Adult Protective Services referral
  • England safeguarding referral — with the three-limb threshold spelled out, which is why most referrals go nowhere

Door 3 has no letter, deliberately — that’s where a guide stops and a qualified person starts. Instead: what to bring an attorney, and the four questions that produce answers rather than a bill.

Plus the sibling chapter, cut from the book: the brother who thinks you’re overreacting, the sister who thinks you’re after the money, the one who agrees and does nothing.

And the 30-day plan, dated — everything before day 10 needs nobody’s permission.

Scotland and Wales are kept separate from England. Nothing here is legal advice, and nothing promises the money back.
