The $5K/mo freelancer trap (and how to break out)
Most freelancers and creators hit a ceiling around $2-5K/month and can't figure out why.
Here's the pattern I see over and over:
You're selling time, not systems. Every dollar requires your direct involvement. You trade hours for money and wonder why there's a cap.
The fix isn't "work harder" — it's restructure what you sell:
Productize your service. Turn your best process into a repeatable package with a fixed price. Stops scope creep, makes sales predictable.
Build one asset that sells while you sleep. A template, a guide, a tool — something that costs you time once and earns forever.
Stack recurring revenue. Even a small monthly offer ($10-50/mo) compounds fast. 100 members at $25/mo = $30K/year on autopilot.
The freelancers who break past $5K aren't necessarily more talented — they just stopped trading time 1:1.
I built Cash Blueprint to help creators and freelancers make this shift. If that's you, come join us.
