Have you ever paid for a Whop community and the public data didn't match the pitch?

Curious how common this actually is — not a dunk on anyone.

You land on a confident page. Then you look at reviews, members, price. Sometimes it lines up. Sometimes it doesn't.

Vote. If you've got a specific miss, drop it in the comments (no names needed).

Sports picks have 10x the public reviews of trading. Buyers see that.

Pulled live marketplace numbers this week.

Sports picks (public reviews):

  • Trust My System — 5,215

  • Official Picks — 4,719

  • KingCapSports — 3,621

  • SecuredPicks — 2,537

Trading (public reviews):

  • Dr. Profit — 1,513

  • PlayBit — 981

  • Stock Hours — 765

  • Tempo Trades — 686

  • Potion Alpha — 389

Same platform. Same buyer. Completely different proof.

If you run a trading community, the listing next to you in a comparison is often a sports picks page with thousands of reviews. That is the bar buyers are already used to.

Featured Partner is labeled placement at the top of a category. It does not change anyone else's organic rank.

Sellers: what's actually blocking you from getting reviews?

Most categories on ClearRank are still led by listings with almost no published reviews. The gap is not product quality. It's proof.

Vote the real blocker. If it's something else, say it in the comments.

Poll: two listings, same price. What actually makes you pay?

Not the pitch. The public record.

If two Whop communities cost about the same, vote the signal you actually use to pick one.

Sellers: this is what ClearRank ranks on — reviews, members, price, verification — live from Whop, not from anyone's landing page.

Comment if the thing that decides it for you isn't on the list.

How to read a Whop listing in 60 seconds

Buyers waste a day on pitch videos. Public data is faster.

1. Price vs billing

Monthly vs yearly vs “from $X”. If you cannot tell what you pay on day 31, leave.

2. Reviews

Count and recency, not just stars. Five glowing reviews from launch week is a different signal than fifty over a year.

3. Members

A number with no reviews is a crowd, not proof.

4. What is labeled

On ClearRank, Featured Partner is paid placement. Organic rank is the public comparison. Both are useful. They are not the same thing.

5. Your use case

Trading signals, sports picks, coaching: match the category, then compare two or three side by side.

That is the whole read. If a listing cannot survive those five, it does not get your card.

Don't subscribe off a pitch. Compare the public data first.

Same pattern across trading, sports picks, coaching, and pretty much every other category we rank:

The landing page is always confident. The public record often isn't.

Before you pay for a community, look at three things side by side:

  • How many real reviews are published

  • How many members are actually in it

  • What it costs vs. the listings next to it

That's what ClearRank is built for. Free to browse, 66 categories, live data from Whop — not from the seller.

If a listing can't show public proof, that's the signal.

If your Whop is buried, it's usually one of these four things

ClearRank only ranks public signals. If you're sitting near the bottom of your category, it's almost never the product — it's that buyers can't see proof.

The four things that move a listing:

  1. Reviews. Most categories are still dominated by listings with zero published reviews. One honest review puts you ahead of the majority.

  2. Visible members. Member count is public. Empty rooms look like empty rooms.

  3. A complete listing. Headline, description, gallery. Incomplete pages get scored like incomplete pages.

  4. Verification. Buyers treat it as a trust filter, not a decoration.

Check your category on clearrank-app.whop.app — no login, no catch. If you want the labeled Featured Partner slot at the top of your category, that's a separate placement and it doesn't touch anyone else's rank.

Quick poll — what actually decides whether you join a Whop community?

Buyers: vote for the signal you actually use before you pay.

Sellers: this is the same data ClearRank ranks on — reviews, members, price, verification — pulled live from Whop, not from anyone's pitch.

Drop a comment if the thing that matters most to you isn't on the list.
