Why I stopped trying to build SaaS from scratch (and started white-labeling instead)
Most people who want to run a SaaS business get stuck at step one: they can't code, or they spend 6 months building an MVP nobody wants.
Here's the alternative nobody talks about enough: white-label SaaS. You buy a fully-built, working software product, put your own brand on it, and sell it as your own — no dev team, no 6-month build cycle.
I did this with a clinic review management tool (helps medical/dental practices collect and manage patient reviews — a real, boring, profitable niche). It's already built. I just needed to price it, package it, and find the right buyers.
The unlock for anyone considering this path: pick a niche that's unsexy but has real budget (healthcare, local services, B2B ops) — not another AI wrapper competing with 500 others. Boring niches have less competition and buyers who already understand ROI.
If you're an aspiring SaaS entrepreneur who doesn't want to spend a year building before earning a dollar, white-labeling is the fastest legitimate path to revenue. Happy to share more about how the pricing/packaging works if anyone's curious.
