3 things that actually improved my aim more than aim trainers

Hot take: aim trainers are overrated for most players.

After coaching hundreds of players across Valorant, CS2, and Apex, here's what actually moved the needle:

1. Crosshair placement > raw flicks

Most players lose fights before they even start. If your crosshair isn't head-level at common angles, you're starting every duel at a disadvantage. Spend 10 minutes in an empty server tracing head-level along every wall. Do this for a week and you'll notice a difference.

2. Sens consistency across games

If you play multiple titles, convert your sensitivity properly. Use the same cm/360 across every game. Your muscle memory will thank you.

3. VOD review > grinding more games

Playing 10 ranked games teaches you nothing if you repeat the same mistakes. Record one game, watch it at 2x, write down 3 things you did wrong. Fix ONE next session. Repeat.

These three things alone will get most players from hardstuck to climbing. Building a community around this at ClipNet Collective — coaching, strategy, team matchmaking, and tournaments. Come through if you're serious about leveling up.
