How I build my weekly parlays (and why most people do it wrong)

Most bettors treat parlays like lottery tickets — random legs stacked on vibes.

That's not how CMT does it.

Here's my actual process:

1. Start with 2-3 high-confidence legs

I never build a parlay backward from a big payout. I start with games where I see genuine value and build from there. If I can't find 2 strong legs, I don't force a parlay.

2. Avoid correlated parlays unless they're properly correlated

Same-game parlays are fine — but only when the legs actually feed each other (e.g., team wins + their QB throws 2+ TDs is correlated, team wins + opposing RB rushes for 100 yards is not).

3. Manage the leg count

4 legs max. Once you go past 4, you're playing house odds. I stick to 3-leg sweet spots most weeks.

4. Post the plays before the games start

No retroactive picks here. Every parlay is posted in the feed before kickoff — screenshots, timestamps, receipts.

I post picks every Thursday/Friday at CMT Parlay Club — $5/week if you want in.
