UV light from windows (and even some LED bulbs) breaks down the pigments in Pokémon card packaging over time. That Evolving Skies booster box that's worth £300+ today? Give it 2-3 years on a sunlit shelf and the colours start to fade. The shrink wrap yellows. The value drops.
